My Lord and my Maker.

I'll worship my Creator.

Bring me close to You and I'll rest in your peace.

I long to walk with You and have my mind renewed.

About Me

I took a gap year '06-'07 at King's Bible College in Oxford. And it was beyond words. I'm now doing a 3-year degree in Development Studies and Economics at the University of Manchester. I love travelling and people. And God. Obviously.

Happy New Year!

I know I'm slightly late, but Christmas was very busy in the life of Anna Walker.

I went home for a little over a week, spending lovely time with family and friends, trying to spend as little money as one possibly can when it's Christmas and people want presents!

On Boxing Day, the Walker household had two very special guests... Melissa (my cousin) came over all the way from Melbourne, Australia (which bewilders me, as it's about 35 degrees over there, and like... FREEEZING here), and then no-one other than THE Miss Amy Hippsley came in preparation for our trip to Norway!

And on the 27th.... WE WENT TO NORWAY!

For all you KBC people - of course we went to see the loooovely Ellen Miles! And what an amazing time we had. We had great times of worship, of laughter, of prayer, of singing (YEEESSS we made her sing ALL the time!), of skiing/snowboarding, of falling over (but that was mainly on Amy's side of things), of meeting great new people and trying Norweigen cuisine, which, I'll hand it to Ellen, mostly, isn't all that bad! It was a real blessing to be able to stay there for the time that we did.

WE LOVE SANDEFJORD!

I'm now back in Manchester, trying to revise for my SIX exams that start for a fortnight next week. But, as is obvious from this very blog post, it's not going too well, as I will do ANYTHING to procrastinate! ... Even write a blog! But (dearest father, this is mainly for your benefit), I have managed to make lots of poster-y things and stuck them all over my room so that I'm learning as I'm doing everything else!! So if anyone wants to pray for me for more of a drive and desire to work/learn, that would be brilliant!

I hope you are all having a fabulous start to 2008 and I shall see more of you soon :) (Matt and Fran's wedding perhaps??)

Hade bra!
